What a day FOR ONE SIX BRAND!

One Six is finally out! We are finally up and running after having launched our new website on the 6th of October. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped us get to this point. We could not have done it without you. A huge thank you also goes out to everyone who has supported and trusted us in this process. It has been a long journey but we are only getting started! Lastly, our deepest gratitude also goes out to everyone who has ordered from our new website so far. We cannot wait for you to try on our items. Make sure to tag us in any of your social media photos!

Now let us get serious for a moment here: here at One-Six, we want to make a difference in the plus size fashion industry whilst also staying a brand that centres our customers: YOU.  And we have a few ways and ideas on how to achieve all this.

Staying true to YOU

It goes without saying that in order to be an effective plus size brand, we need to stay true to the original fit of the 1-6 sizing system. This is exactly what we are doing. We are committed to always stay inclusive especially in terms of our sizing and our sizing system is at the core of this commitment. After all, we understand how frustrating it can be when you go out shopping or when you click around the internet and realise that your choices are VERY limited. As much as possible, we want to be a brand for everybody. No one needs to feel excluded when they are browsing through our collections because we know that you will find items in your size.

With this promise of staying inclusive and focusing on you as our customers, we are also committed to providing you with excellent customer support service because, after all, you are at the centre of the One-Six brand. When you are happy, we are happy.

Sustainable all the way

Next up, we believe in keeping the brand sustainable. How do we do that? Firstly, we make sure that we use only high-quality garments. This is why our items are slightly pricier than your normal mainstream plus size brand. After all, we are not a fast-fashion brand and never will be. This also means that we cannot go on sale. We would love to go on sale like any other brand and offer you items that are less expensive but if we did that, we will be breaking another commitment we have made.

Specifically, we wanted to build a sustainable brand that is not only based in the UK but also a brand that supports its economy. This is exactly what we are doing right now and we are proud of it. We are ensuring that all our employees are paid fair wages and that they work in good conditions, right here in the UK. We are creating a brand that is not only truly British but also something that makes everyone happy: from the people who design and make the clothes to the people who purchase and wear them afterwards.

Just the beginning

As you can see from our website, we have decided to focus on the colours red and black for our current collection. This is just the beginning and so many new and exciting things are coming your way very soon. Through our launch and new collection, we are hoping to hear feedback from you, our customers.

Of course, we are already working on new collections but it is important to us that we know what your thoughts and wishes are for future collections. What colours do you want to see next time? What cuts, designs or prints do you wish to see on and in our next set of dresses or tops? What styles do you think are missing from our current collection?

We love hearing about your ideas because One-Six, after all, is a customer brand. We will not be relying solely on our designers or product developers for ideas. We want to know what YOU want because, in the end, you are the one who will be wearing our products. We want to ensure customer satisfaction, which is really just a fancy way of saying that we want you to love your One-Six purchases because you know it was made with you in mind.
